2022 Christmas ornament
The Huntertown Historical Society’s fifth annual Christmas ornament celebrates
“100 Years of School Spirit.”
The ornament features a picture of Huntertown High School and commemorates the 1922 consolidation of Eel
River-Perry township schools.
The new Christmas ornament will be for sale at the Lion’s Fish Fry in the old pavilion 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday,
August 12 and Saturday, August 13 in the new Family Park Pavilion. Christmas ornaments will also be for sale
at the Farmers & Merchants Bank in Huntertown. Cost of any ornament is still $10.00 and all proceeds go
toward further historical research for the community.
Heritage Day 2022
The Historical Society’s Heritage Days display will feature Huntertown High School with picture highlights of
graduates, Wildcat basketball champs, high school band and other activities relating to the old high school.
This
display will be in the Huntertown Family Park pavilion following the Heritage Days parade on Saturday, August
13 until 4pm.
The Historical Society will also sponsor a “Bake Walk” at 2 p.m. in the Family Park pavilion. The price for each
chance to walk/win a cake, cookies or brownies will be $1.00.
